Brand and Website Design for Wedding Hair & Makeup Artist

Ivett Beauty Co.

Industry: Bridal Hair and Makeup
Location: Fairfax, VA

Objective: Ivett hired Samantha Digital to rebrand her growing business and update her website, transitioning from “Makeup by Ivett” to the new name “Ivett Beauty Co.” Her goal was to elevate her brand to attract brides seeking a soft glam makeup look and romantic hairstyling for their wedding day.

Behind the Brand & Website

Step 1: Define the Vision

Before design work begins, every project starts with clarity. Ivett completed an onboarding form outlining her business goals, dream clients, and service details. We then met to talk through her vision, giving me the insight I needed to build a brand and website that truly aligns to her goals and vision.

(the form is more detailed than this, but you get the idea)

Step 2: Creative Direction

On Brand Day, we kicked things off with two mood board options. Each board represented a unique visual direction for the brand. Ivett reviewed both and selected the one that best captured her style—romantic, elegant, and soft glam, which was Mood Board A.

Step 3: Design the Brand Identity

With the creative direction confirmed, I designed her primary logo, chose the color palette, and selected font pairings that reflected her brand personality. These were sent over for review, and we fine-tuned them based on her feedback.

Step 4: Create Supporting Assets

Once the core brand was approved, I designed a few extra items based on her priorities. For Ivett, that included Instagram graphics and an updated pricing guide to match her new brand.

Step 5: Deliver Final Brand Files

All finalized brand assets were organized and delivered the same day. From logo files to Canva design templates, Ivett walked away with everything she needed to show up professionally online and on social media.

Step 6: Build the Homepage

Website Day started with building out the homepage on Showit. I sent it to Ivett around 11 a.m. so she could review the design and share any feedback. This early review ensures we’re aligned before expanding the rest of the site.

Step 7: Build the Rest of the Website

Once the homepage direction was confirmed, I built out the remaining pages, ensuring the design was cohesive and on-brand throughout. Each section was thoughtfully designed to highlight her services, team, and bridal experience.

Step 8: Client Revision Window

Ivett had a dedicated revision window from 5–6 p.m. to review the full website. During this time, she shared any final tweaks, and I implemented changes in real time to keep things moving.

Step 9: Launch

After revisions were complete, it was time to go live. Ivett Beauty Co. officially launched with a fresh brand and polished new website, ready to attract her dream brides across Northern Virginia and beyond.
