ArtsFairfax
ArtsFairfax is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated as the official local arts agency for Fairfax County, Virginia (Northern Virginia). Funded in part by Fairfax County, the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts—as well as corporations, foundations, and individuals—ArtsFairfax supports and promotes the arts through grants, advocacy, and community programs.
The non-profit needed a modern, user-friendly website that could better serve its diverse audiences, including artists, arts organizations, and local NOVA residents. The goal was to improve the website design, structure, and functionality while preserving key content and important features. Special care was required to ensure a smooth migration of interactive tools such as the events calendar, artist calls, job board, and arts directory—allowing the local arts community to log in, access existing content, and manage updates without disruption. We migrated over 300 user accounts, 300 arts profiles, 100 events, 20 blog posts, and more.
